“ANTICIPATING THE MOMENT”

About Me

Hey I’m Paul, I’m 195cm tall (yes, I used to play basketball) and I spent the first few decades of my life as a professional musician, playing in bands, touring & spending way too much time at airports.

Long story short, it was time for a change, I was now married to my beautiful wife Dana and with two fantastic kids, the music industry was no longer scratching my creative itch like it once did. My lifelong hobby of photography seemed like the perfect path to start exploring for this invigorating new chapter of my life.

That was just over 7 years ago.

Since then I’ve released three photo books, sold countless fine art prints, recently had my work exhibited in my hometown of Adelaide, photographed too many people to count & fell completely in love with the art of photography. You can explore that side of my photography HERE if you like.

I’m primarily a Documentary Photographer, what does that mean?

Well, it means I focus heavily on storytelling and I photograph in a way that captures the moments unfolding in front of me in the most artistic and honest way possible without disturbing or sacrificing that moment for the sake of a photo.

What does this mean for you?

It means that I have years and years of experience with telling genuine stories through photography, it means that you can put your trust in me, forgot about being photographed and remain completely immersed in your special day while I document all the beautiful moments that will mean so much you in a week, a year or ten years later.

My experience and ability in anticipating the moment, instinct for being in the right place at the right time and photographing from a perspective that traditional wedding photography doesn’t give you, will result in photos as incredible and unique as you are as a couple.
